Samurai Engine Swap Recommendation

Hello, for weeks i looking for a Suzuki Samurai LWB and i have few options but i don`t know what solution to chose and maybe you can help me to take a decision.
First thought is to swap the engine with some reliable and maybe economical, the main use of the car will be daily drive and 2-3 times per years long distance travel.

I find variants with already swapped engine like:
Swift GTI 1.3 Twin Cam G13B
Vitara 2.0 16v J20A
Vitara 1.6 16v G16B
Volvo v40 1.9td
every car have pluses and minuses but is an engine that could make the difference and worth to take it ?

Or i can find a STOCK version and start to make all modifications.
What engine will be the best to swap ? i see many people say about Vitara 1.6 16v is a good option, but have enough power for 32-33 wheels ? for decent speed on highway ? is worth the effort to do myself a swap with one of the above engines ? how about 1.9td ALH ? i know is a reliable engine but the opinions are pro and contra about it swapped on Samurai... ?!

what country do you want the car to be registered?

if its a non EU country. just throw in any 2.0 that you can get the cheapest and will be still availible in a few years
